KLT ATLAS/ORTHO leads
orthophoto production capability with high level
orthophotos and orthophoto mosaics being produced
in a single automated process from oriented aerial
photography, line scanners, large format digital
cameras, medium format digital cameras, and terrain
model data.
ATLAS/ORTHO incorporates the latest in software technology
to make the process of orthophoto production as simple and
automated as possible.
Even with minimal terrain data ATLAS/ORTHO can determine
where to place seam boundaries for the mosaic and adjust
the blending process for automatic geometric and radiometric
corrections.
Using ATLAS/TIN's solids modeler, building tilt and shadowing are removed
producing correct true ortho or true ortho mosaics.
Addressing various hardcopy requirements, the ATLAS/ORTHO
package includes ATLAS/WinPLOT, a general purpose raster
plotting utility that only requires a Windows printer
device. This utility is able to plot the ortho at the
resolution of the device in a format consistent with
photogrammetric standards.
The utility also allows a user to merge data in sheet
coordinates and ground coordinates to allow user defined
manuscript data to be applied to every plot.
